How to do Push-ups exercise

Here is a basic guide on how to perform a push-up:

  1. Start by getting into a plank position on the floor, with your hands placed slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Your palms should be flat on the ground and your fingers should be spread wide.

  2. Keep your body in a straight line, engage your core and keep your glutes tight.

  3. Lower your body by bending your elbows, keeping them close to your body. Your chest should almost touch the ground.

  4. Push yourself back up to the starting position, straightening your arms. This completes one rep.

  5. Repeat the exercise for the desired number of reps.

It's very important to keep a correct form while doing push-ups, as a poor form can lead to injury. Make sure to keep your body straight and engage the core throughout the exercise to stabilize the body. And also it's important to breathe, Inhale as you lower your body and exhale as you push back up.

As you progress, you can try different variations of push-ups, such as close-grip push-ups, diamond push-ups, and one-arm push-ups to challenge different muscle groups and improve your overall strength.
